The Meeting Place for Photographers in Saltburn and its surrounding areas.
Ray McKenna was the Society’s first President. He was a partner in McKenna and Brown a photographic and hi-fi retailer in Redcar. Although not competitive he was a keen supporter of the Society and regularly attended meetings. He donated the trophy that was initially for 35mm slides and is now awarded for projected digital images in the advanced category in the Society.
